Mélusine[]
The dashing and powerful wizard Felix Harrowgate goes through incredible tribulations as his past life catches up with him. Meanwhile, Mildmay the Fox, former kept-thief trained as an assassin, now a cat burglar, has been caught by a powerful charm targeting Felix. Thrown together, they will face a difficult journey.
The Virtu[]
The second book in the quartet picks up after the end of Mélusine, with Felix and Mildmay journeying back to Mélusine on a quest to restore the Virtu, and deal with Malkar Gennadion.
The Mirador[]
The third book in the quartet picks up after the end of The Virtu, with Felix and Mildmay still living in the Mirador. But many still wish to see Felix fail, and he faces his own demons. Mildmay navigates a hostile new environment, his past, and a complicated relationship with Mehitabel Parr, an actress hiding secrets of her own.
Corambis[]
The final book in the quartet picks up with Felix and Mildmay on their journey in exile from Mélusine, on their way to the far off land of Corambis, and the many difficulties of settling into a new and completely foreign place. Meanwhile, Kay Brightmore struggles to navigate the complicated politics of his homeland and his personal loyalties.
